Hi, my name is Andrew Powell.  I'm a RIA solutions architect located in the metro Atlanta, GA area.  I am currently employed by Universal Mind.  I am an Adobe Community Professional, specializing in Flex, formerly I was an ACP for ColdFusion.  I get to build really cool applications for my clients with tools like Java, Adobe LiveCycle Data Services, Adobe BlazeDS, Adobe Flex, Adobe ColdFusion, Adobe Spry, Hibernate, Spring, & other cool technologies. 

My current interest in getting the most for clients out of BlazeDS & LiveCycle Data Services.  I'm also conducting a fair amount of research on sentiment analysis and how it can apply to the stock market.

I won the 2008 360|Flex API Contest: Ribbit Category for the Hotel Search & Call application that I wrote using the APIs from Ribbit, Kayak, & MapQuest.
